About Cefur

Cefur was started in April 2011 by the city of Ronneby. It is targeted to be a center for research and development, with close connections to regional business as well as society and universities. Sustainability is the keyword of the on-going establishment phase. Companies and universities are invited to cooperate, or are cooperating with Cefur already.

The vision of Cefur is to become an internationally well-known, innovative promoter of sustainable development in business and society, with Cradle to Cradle in certain focus.

The strategic leader of Cefur, Sölve Landén, is reporting direct to the city council of Ronneby.

The mayor (of the conservative party) Roger Fredriksson is one of for the moment two persons in a steering committee of Cefur. The second is the former mayor (labour), JanAnders Palmqvist.
